Clinton Hill Middle

The Clinton Hill Campus Middle School was founded in 2005 by North Star teachers Michael Mann and Jesse Rector. Expansion to a second middle school enabled North Star Academy to serve more Newark students using the same model of success as the Downtown Middle School. Expansion has also fostered cross-campus collaboration, which has resulted in refined curricula with increased rigor at both campuses.

Clinton Hill is currently led by Principal Jesse Rector and Director of Operations Jason Russell.
