What inspires you?
Seeing the kindness that my students extend towards one another when a peer is struggling to answer a question or the grit that they show when working through a difficult problem is incredibly inspiring and humbling. I feel lucky that I get the chance to be a part of it each day.
What is your most rewarding experience in teaching?
My most rewarding experience was seeing a student who really struggled last year and early this year make it to Honor Roll this past quarter! Her growth was amazing and she sets an example for all of her peers that hard work and determination can make anything a reality.
Who is your hero or role model?
My parents are my role models. They put in the long hours with my two siblings and I growing up, making any sacrifices they needed to in order to help us succeed. I see the love they showed for us through all of their actions.
