At North Star Academy, our love of learning and our care for our students drives everything we do. Since our founding in 1997, North Star Academy has served Newark families with an award-winning instructional model which supports academic and personal growth. Our teachers infuse joy into every day, creating an active engaged learning environment that instills a love of learning starting in elementary school. We use student assessment data to target our daily lessons to meet the unique needs of each scholar, at every academic level, creating a school and a community centered on student success and joy.
