West Side Park Elementary

North Star Academy West Side Park Elementary School was founded in 2010 by Aja Settles and Brett Baker—both former North Star teachers—following the success of its sister school Vailsburg Elementary School. Committed to the mission of reaching Newark children at the beginning of their academic careers, West Side Park Elementary School currently serves 174 students in grades K-1. West Side Park Elementary School will add a new grade each year until it is at scale as a K-4 school, serving 435 students.
